Rita Payés Roma has lived and breathed music since her childhood. An exceptional trombonist and singer, she has captivated audiences from a young age with her magnetic stage presence. Whether performing in English, Spanish, or Portuguese, Rita masterfully blends jazz and bossa nova with her unique style, creating an unforgettable atmosphere at her concerts. At just 16 years old, she released her debut album Jazz to Jazz (2015) alongside renowned jazz musician Joan Chamorro, which marked the beginning of her international success and showcased her extraordinary talent.

Rita Payés achieved her breakthrough with her latest album, De Camino al Camino (2024): not only does she play sold-out concerts in Spain, she also enjoys international popularity with 1.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify. In 2025, she played sold-out concerts with her family trio and quintet, featuring her mother Elisabeth Roma and husband Pol Battle, at the Rheingau Music Festival, Jazzbaltica, the Theaterhaus Jazztage, in Montreux, and other festivals.

In 2026, Rita Payes will present a new trio together with pianist Lucia Fumero (and Juan Berbin, percussion); releasing a new album together in the spring.
