RasgaRasga are pure energy. Six musical border crossers, twelve instruments, four languages and a firework of emotions - RasgaRasga transport their audience to a colorful and brilliant place. A place of self-expression, togetherness and the present.

RasgaRasga celebrate their unique style of popular music by fusing new genres and incorporating inspirations from other cultures. On their current album "HELIO" they express their heartbeat, moods and feelings and consistently continue their path of musical border crossing: Sometimes euphorically erupting and then again hypnotically monotonous, sometimes melancholically wide, to then drive forward energetically again. The six musicians create a maelstrom through their interaction that carries the audience along and pulls them onto the dance floor.

The music reflects the diversity of singer Daria Assmus' lyrics. She carries the band with songtexts in English, German, Spanish or French and her multi-faceted, direct voice and contagious energy. RasgaRasga infuse the stage with joy.

RasgaRasga are award winners of the Creole World Music Competition and part of the NRW State Music Council's promotion of music cultures.
