Dub Princess & Hotsteppas

Dub Princess is a genre-blending force of nature, seamlessly fusing reggae, dub, soul, and electronic grooves with her mesmerizing vocals and magnetic stage presence. Her music transcends borders and resonates with listeners worldwide, delivering messages of unity, empowerment, and joy. From intimate venues to the grandest festival stages like Glastonbury, Rototom Sunsplash, and Boomtown, Dub Princess captivates audiences.

With over 150 million plays and streams of her songs, Dub Princess has evolved along a slalom of collaborations with some of the most respected artists in the underground hip-hop, dub/reggae, and electronic music scenes (Jurassic 5's Charlie 2na, OKA, Dub FX, Okuli and Isaac Chambers), and has supported legendary groups such as Black Uhuru.

Now, Dub princess has joined forces with Hotsteppas, a dynamic 7-piece band Hotsteppas from Bristol. Known for their collaborations with Errol Dunkley, Ashanti Selah, Donovan Kingjay, Blackout JA, Hotsteppas bring their own flavour to the mix. Together with Dub Princess they have crafted a fresh sound that has captivated the Bristol music scene. Over the past few years, Dub Princess has been writing new melodies & lyrics to Hotsteppas instrumentation and adding her original fire to the live set.
Their combined strengths deliver a rousing and atmospheric live performance with a blend of reggae, ska and jazz. Their music is a means of expressing their firm stand against the ills of society and racial discrimination. They address issues such as climate change, poverty, political corruption and the unequal distribution of wealth, sending a positive message to the world and thus fighting for a better future through their art.
