Kraak & Smaak

Performance-wise, Kraak & Smaak have graced stages across the world, with festival highlights including Glastonbury, Detroit Movement, Sziget, Exit, Coachella and Bonnaroo, alongside extensive club touring throughout Europe, the UK, the USA, Australia, China and Mexico. During a five-week live tour across the USA, Kraak & Smaak performed on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live!, bringing their signature blend of electronic production and live musicianship to a nationwide audience.

Beyond their renowned DJ sets, Kraak & Smaak are equally celebrated for their dynamic live band performances. Featuring a full live setup with vocals, keys, guitar and percussion, the band transforms the trio's studio productions into an energetic and soulful concert experience. Fronted by long-time collaborators and vocalists including IVAR and Berenice van Leer, the live show seamlessly combines electronic grooves, funk, disco and indie influences, showcasing the rich catalogue of songs that has defined Kraak & Smaak over the years.

The live band has become a festival favourite, earning a reputation for uplifting performances, exceptional musicianship and a genuine connection with audiences worldwide.

With Kraak & Smaak's DJ sets one can expect a mix of deep house, nu disco and everything in between; sometimes lighter in tone, sometimes more club-focused, depending on the setting, but always diverse, accessible and unmistakably stylish.

The Sound System format adds either Ivar Vermeulen or Berenice van Leer to the mix, allowing the trio to incorporate live renditions of their original material into their DJ performances and creating a unique bridge between club culture and live concert energy.
